Still creating. Still capable of shaping beauty from softness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-medium\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/loopoflightcom.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/11a3b502-731f-4443-aa6b-f3ad507f228c_l0_001-25.4.2025-17_09_36-1.jpg?w=1290&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Three green crocheted coasters arranged on a table, with a white planter containing a pinkish plant, a small green candle, and a round metal tray in the background.\" class=\"wp-image-395\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I used to think creating for myself was selfish.<br>That making something \u201cjust because it feels good\u201d wasn\u2019t enough.<br>But slowly \u2014 through grief, illness, limitation, and quiet days \u2014 I\u2019ve learned the opposite is true:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Creating for yourself is sacred.<br>It\u2019s a way of saying: <em>\u201cI matter, even when I\u2019m not producing.\u201d<\/em><br><em>\u201cI deserve gentleness, even when I\u2019m not okay.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Crochet has become more than a hobby.<br>It\u2019s become my rhythm. My meditation. My breath when the air feels heavy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">And while it doesn\u2019t fix everything,<br>it gives me something to hold<br>when everything else feels like too much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">If you\u2019ve ever picked up your yarn just to feel peace, you are not alone.
