You may have noticed a large and exciting universe out there. It is filled with wonderful crochet projects. These are created by various international designers. It\u2019s easy to feel overwhelmed by the different words and expressions used in different parts of the world. The advantage of crochet patterns is that they often consist largely of combinations of numbers and abbreviations. If you have a good grasp of the abbreviations, nearly endless possibilities open up for you. This applies to both patterns and projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once you’ve cracked the code on abbreviations and terms with US and UK references, another problem arises. This relates to translating yarn choices from yarn labels elsewhere. These need to be adapted to the yarn variations we have discovered here. To make it easier for you, we’ve created a glossary. It will help you quickly find which yarn you can use.
