About me – get to know me
My name is Bente, and I’m the creator behind Loop of Light. . I am a married mother of three, with my kids growing up really fast. My youngest is now 11 years old. I used to work full time. I had a lot of positions and roles. My health situation has turned my life upside down. I have been looking for a new approach to fill my everyday with positive activities. With a crochet hook in my hand and thoughts on my mind, I meet life one stitch at a time. I hope you follow me a bit longer to get to know me better.
Why Loop of Light
Crafting has become my pause button. A way to find calm when the world feels too much. When my health limits what I can do, I let creativity take up space where my body can’t.
Loop of Light was born from my belief in the healing power of creating. It is not for perfection but for presence. It is for joy and softness.

I want to inspire those who, like me, are looking for small, gentle moments in everyday life. And to remind you that self-care can be beautiful and creative.
You’ll often find me with a cup of tea. A crochet project is in my lap. I also have a quiet thought I’d like to share.
